The Dr. Jim Vaszauskas Center for the Performing Arts will be the host for this year's regional high school barbecue competition on April 1-2, 2022.

High school students from across Texas will be bringing their best secret recipes and skills for a panel of lucky judges to taste. From brisket to beans, these students have the chops and will be showing their skills in one delicious day of competition on Saturday, April 2. (Seminars will be conducted on April 1 from 1 p.m. - 8 p.m.)

Don't miss this event! The smokers are guaranteed to be as hot as the competition at this year’s annual BBQ contest.

NOTE: Competing teams will not be allowed to serve food to the public.
